  2. The knowladge of knowing melting points are key to lost wax casting. The teampture melts at a certian point which is 70'C and that is key for the molding process.

  8. You would need to know how hot to get the fire if you are mealting wax wich is 70 degrees c or mealting gold with 1000 degrees c. If its gold you are going to need a bigger fire then wax would because it needs to be hotter --Riley

The knowledge of melting points is important because if they did not know the melting point, then they would not be able to finish the jewlery if they did not melt the wax, because in order to melt the wax, they need to reach its melting point. They would also need to know the melting point of gold in order to finish the jewlery by melting the gold and metal together.

  11. They need to know the melting points of wax because when the are suclpting or storing wax if the tempature is wrong then it would melt.
